White Ribbon Campaign, November 25-December 6:

On November 25, The Partners Against Violence Committee will launch their annual White Ribbon Campaign. The White Ribbon Campaign (WRC) is the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. In over fifty-five countries, campaigns are led by both men and women, and the focus is on educating men and boys.

Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls. Wearing a white ribbon is a way of saying, "Our future has no violence against women."

In Moose Jaw, the ribbons will be available from November 25, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women until December 6, which is marked as the National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women.

White Ribbons are available at the following locations around Moose Jaw: The Police Station, City Hall, The Yara Centre, The Chamber of Commerce, Royal Bank (downtown location), The Public Library, Crescent View Clinic, John Howard Society, Moose Jaw Multicultural Council, Hillcrest Church, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Please visit any one of these locations and pick up your White Ribbon today to show your support in ending violence against women!
